Bring your expertise in school psychology to an engaging contract role in the Castle Rock, CO area, serving two elementary schools. This part-time opportunity allows you to impact students educational journeys with just one day per week at each of two welcoming schools. Your knowledge will play a vital role in supporting the special education needs of elementary-aged students while collaborating with dedicated staff and families.
KeyQualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience in special education assessment, including cognitive, behavioral, and socio-emotional evaluations
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and legal compliance
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills with students, educators, and parents
- Ability to work independently across multiple school sites
- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations for special education eligibility and services
- Interpret testing results and effectively communicate findings to multidisciplinary team members and families
- Contribute to IEP planning and provide recommendations based on assessment results
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and administrators regarding students social, emotional, and learning needs
- Support intervention planning and participate in problem-solving meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to district guidelines and deadlines
- Flexibility with one scheduled day per week at each location
