Build the Next Generation of Quantum Computing
We’re partnering with a venture-backed quantum technology company developing next-generation quantum computing hardware.
This is a highly technical, hands‑on environment bringing together atomic physics, quantum information, optics and precision engineering to tackle some of the hardest challenges in computing.
We’re looking for a Quantum Hardware Engineer to join the team and help turn cutting‑edge physics into scalable quantum technology.
What You’ll Do- Build & test quantum hardware — design, assemble and optimize precision experimental systems.
- Run experiments — plan experiments, analyze data and improve system performance.
- Solve complex physics problems — apply AMO physics, quantum information and light–matter interactions to practical engineering challenges.
- Develop control systems — work across hardware and software to operate and characterize quantum systems.
- Troubleshoot & integrate — diagnose complex experimental hardware and contribute to system‑level integration.
- Collaborate & innovate — work with physicists, hardware engineers and software teams while contributing to IP and technical publications.
- PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong background in AMO physics, quantum information or experimental physics
- Understanding of light–matter interactions
- Hands‑on experience with experimental or laboratory systems
- Lasers & optics
- Scientific instrumentation
Bonus:
