  • Administer user access, security permissions, and system configuration, applying appropriate controls to reduce risk.

  • Coordinate with the Spectrum vendor and IT on troubleshooting, upgrades, and escalations.

  • Support department power users with appropriate self-service access while maintaining system integrity.

Business Process & Training
  • Collaborate with project managers, accounting, operations, and IT to map business processes and identify gaps.

  • Develop documentation and standard operating procedures to reduce risk from staff transitions.

  • Train end users on Spectrum functionality and best practices.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to ensure ERP capabilities are fully leveraged.

Reporting & Analytics
  • Write and optimize SQL queries against Spectrum and related databases to support reporting needs.

  • Analyze system usage and data accuracy; build and maintain reports and dashboards, partnering with the Data & Automation team.

  • Troubleshoot and repair existing Spectrum-adjacent reports, and rebuild those that no longer meet business needs.

Automation & Integrations
  • Support API integrations and system connectivity between Spectrum and other business applications.

  • Develop Power Query solutions and contribute to broader automation projects.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong ERP skills, with hands-on experience in ERP software - preferably Spectrum or similar construction-focused systems.

  • Business process and process improvement skills - able to document workflows, identify gaps, and implement streamlined procedures.

  • Analytical skills to interpret system data, troubleshoot issues, and develop meaningful dashboards and reports.

  • Prior experience in construction or heavy civil industries is a plus, including familiarity with project accounting and job cost structures, and experience supporting on-site teams.

  • Strong communication and training skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools; working knowledge of SQL preferred.

Education and Experience:
  • Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent practical experience, preferred.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience - Preferably with SQL, reporting/BI tools, or systems administration - through prior roles, internships, coursework, or personal projects. Prior ERP or Viewpoint Spectrum experience is a plus, but not required.
