Associate Analyst, Defined

• Analyze and validate large datasets using Excel, SQL, and other reporting platforms
• Learn pension plan operations and develop subject matter expertise in Defined Benefit administration
• Support client projects, operational enhancements, and business process improvements
• Research and resolve complex data, plan, and operational issues
• Partner with internal teams to design and implement solutions improving client and participant experiences
• Assist with corporate actions and change orders for client pension plan administration
• Participate in meetings and planning activities for project execution and client satisfaction
• Evaluate business requests and identify impacts to operations, systems, and client deliverables
• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and process enhancements
• Collaborate with leaders and cross-functional teams on initiatives supporting Fidelity’s Defined Benefit business

• Bachelor’s Degree required;
  Data Analytics, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, and Business Administration majors preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• Experience with SQL, Access, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or other analytical tools preferred
• Exposure to actuarial science concepts is a plus
• Internship, academic project, or coursework involving data analysis, reporting, or process improvement
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Interest in financial services, retirement benefits, operations, or consulting
• Curiosity and willingness to learn technical and business concepts
• Continuous improvement mindset and desire to identify better ways of working
