This is routine custodial work involving the care and housekeeping of the Robert

A. Christensen Justice Center. Work involves varied responsibility for participating in the performance of a variety of tasks including cleaning, minor maintenance and repair tasks, and room set‑ups.

Generally, the hiring range is $39,464-$49,330 annually. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary.

• Maintain all floor surfaces.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies.
• Dusts and polishes woodwork and furniture.
• Cleans and maintains all interior building surfaces.
• Collects and disposes of trash.
• Secure building nightly.
• Operate, basic maintenance and adjustment of mechanical custodial equipment.
• Report all maintenance issues to Lead Custodian.
• May be required to perform basic maintenance.

Education and/or

Experience:

A high school diploma or GED equivalent and knowledge of the proper use and safety of cleaning supplies and tools or equivalent.

• Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License upon hire, with complying insurance. Review of motor vehicle record is required at time of hire and periodically throughout employment.
• This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database.

In the event of an emergency/disaster in or near the County, all County employees are expected to make every effort to be available to assist the County Manager, Elected/Appointed Officials and Department Directors to ensure the continued operation of any and all necessary County functions. This may mean being available to perform additional duties and hours beyond what is normally required.

In the event that an exempt employee does work more than 40 hours a week in support of County operations during an emergency, such employee may receive overtime or other appropriate wage compensation in accordance with existing County policies or at the discretion of the County.
