Job Description- Oversees staff performance, manages staffing, hiring, orientation, and discipline, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Manages budgets and resources, maintains appropriate staffing and understands healthcare finance.
- Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives, implements evidence‑based practice changes, and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies.
- Utilizes critical thinking and technology in decision‑making, problem‑solving, and integrating new systems to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Provides strong leadership and mentorship, ensures high‑quality clinical care, supports staff development, and maintains clear communication and planning for patient care delivery.
- Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and maintains positive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments to ensure patient‑centered care.
- Demonstrates professionalism, supports ongoing education and development, maintains confidentiality, and upholds ethical standards and organizational policies.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient focused care.
- Educates and mentors staff, ensuring adherence to clinical practice models and evidence‑based practices.
- Develops and implements policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Fosters patient, family, staff, and physician satisfaction, understanding its impact on business goals.

- Knowledge of regulatory standards (The Joint Commission, OSHA, specialty standards).
- Effective communication and presentation to both large and small groups.
- Computer knowledge and skills;
Cerner medical record experience preferred. - Ability to maintain clinical competencies and assist at the bedside.
- Collaborates with leadership and staff to define and refine goals consistent with the organization's mission.
- Empowers and supports staff in educational offerings related to career growth and professional development.
- Demonstrates leadership behaviors and attitudes consistent with the organization's philosophy, mission, and goals.
- Knowledge of state, federal, and regulatory standards that guide services; ensures compliance through updating policies, practices, and procedures.
- Supervises and develops work schedules, monitors utilization of resources, and participates in budget oversight with a focus on cost‑saving measures.
- High level of prioritization, time management, and the ability to take corrective action when necessary.
- Bachelor’s of Nursing [Required]
- Master’s of Nursing [Preferred]
- Field of study:
Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
- 1+ years critical care or emergency experience [Required]
- 1+ years related experience [Required]
- 2+ years leadership experience [Preferred]
- 2+ years related experience [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) [Required]
- Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) [Preferred]

Pay Range$88,185.53 - $
