Position: Orthopedics & Pain Management PA- Castle Rock, CO
PM&R PA - AHMG Orthopedics & Spine at Castle Rock

Advent Health Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care, support and education to patients and their families through all aspects of their physical medicine and rehabilitation process. The PA will participate as a key member of the Orthopedic and Spine team to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. We are looking for someone who utilizes a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to the patient/family's care, serving as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant, and researcher in the inpatient, operative, and outpatient settings.

This PA will split their time - 75% in clinic, 25% in the hospital procedure suite.

Please include a CV with your application - NO NEW GRADS at this time. Experience must include 2+ years in either neurosurgery or PM&R

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assists in seeing both new and return patients

* Conducts rounding on patients and supports physicians with patients in clinic.

* Procedures will include Knee injections, Bursa injections, shoulder injections, trigger point injections, and occipital nerve blocks.

* Consenting for ablations, epidurals, spinal cord stimulator trials, peripheral nerve stimulators, kyphoplasty, and Basi vertebral nerve ablation.

* Assisting with spinal cord stimulator implants in the future

* Orders and interprets test results.

* Functions as a resource person for individuals with questions regarding their diagnosis or treatment and coordinates the multidisciplinary plan of care.

* Works in collaboration with other APPs and physicians using established and approved protocols as required by institutional policy.

* Effectively uses time, personnel, equipment and supplies to provide high-quality, cost-effective delivery of patient care.

* Pay Range: $73.14 - $79.65/hr.
