Associate Manager – Store Support

The Associate Manager supports the General Manager in developing strategic plans and executing them to drive profitability and brand excellence across the store. In the absence of the General Manager, the Associate Manager makes key decisions, provides leadership, and ensures a consistently excellent customer experience in line with Ralph Lauren brand standards.

• Support the General Manager in analyzing business trends and planning initiatives for the store location.
• Educate team on sales and profit performance tools.
• Create a consistent customer experience aligned to RL brand expectations and store vision.
• Assist in developing the store's client development strategy and lead community outreach.
• Execute the talent strategy, building and developing a customer‑centric team.
• Drive networking and recruitment in the local market.
• Engage in talent development conversations, providing coaching and learning opportunities.
• Maintain productivity through store execution, inventory control, and shrink control.
• Champion new technology to support New Ways of Selling techniques and More Ways to Shop.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to General Manager & District Director on profit potential and category trends.
• Ensure sales floor and all store standards exceed expectations.
• Create an inclusive environment aligned to Ralph Lauren values and cultural focus areas.

• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management or similar industry experience in a complex, high‑volume specialty environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills with customers and store personnel.
• Physical ability to maneuver the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap; may lift up to 30 lbs and climb moderately.
• Ability to operate the register and move for extended hours.
• Flexibility to work day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts and travel as required.
• Proven track record of building positive relationships with customers, management, and co‑workers.
• Business acumen.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and time‑management skills.

Salary range: $53,000 - $86,000 annually.
