Position Summary:

Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing and inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Provides guidance to associates on customer service, community outreach, compliance with company and legal policies, asset protection, safety, and quality assurance. Oversees stocking, product selection, prescription verification, minor frame repair, and optical equipment maintenance.

Leads hiring, training, mentoring, recognition and promotes a sense of belonging.

• Drive Vision Center sales, manage merchandise presentation, pricing, signing, and inventory levels.
• Model and enforce customer member service standards and troubleshoot complaints.
• Participate in and lead community outreach programs.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, monitor asset protection and safety controls.
• Conduct safety operational and quality assurance reviews and develop action plans to improve performance.
• Hire, train, mentor, and recognize associates; build high‑performing teams and foster a culture of belonging.
• Consult with and educate members on eyewear selection, measurements and prescription verification.
• Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders, communicate goals, and measure progress to achieve results.
• Support company programs, strategic initiatives, and uphold ethics and integrity.

• Completion of 2 or more years’ of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

• Experience supervising associates.

Hourly wage range: $32.50 - $42.50 per hour. Additional premiums may apply.
