Position Summary
The Auto Club Group is seeking Insurance Sales Agents to drive new business, retain existing members, and grow ACG’s insurance book through a range of competitive product offerings. In this role, agents use consultative sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer‑focused service to assess needs, recommend coverage, close sales, and build lasting relationships with members and prospects.
Location & ScheduleCastle Rock, CO. Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm MT.
Key Responsibilities- Identify customer‑specific needs with sales techniques and product knowledge to generate new sales and retain existing insureds.
- Effectively overcome objections to close the sale and/or retain the insured.
- Meet or exceed targets per the sales incentive plan and manager’s assignments.
- Conduct insurance reviews to identify suitable products.
- Assess risk, recommend products, quote, bind, and issue policies using tools and underwriting guidelines.
- Engage in market‑based interactions at businesses and other convenient locations to solicit new business, create and expand networks, and build rapport for customer satisfaction, loyalty, and affinity to AAA.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests relating to insurance, membership and financial products.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
- Current Life Insurance Sales license.
- Ability to qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
- Must obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable within a time frame established by the Business Unit.
- 1+ year(s) of sales or customer service experience.
- Strong sales skills with a history of developing, tracking, following up on, and closing leads.
- Advanced consultative selling techniques and thorough product knowledge.
- Strong phone sales and prospecting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer focus.
- Ambition, motivation, and drive.
- Knowledge of desktop systems including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs.
This is an in‑office position. Employees serve ACG members in‑person at a branch facility.
Compensation & BenefitsGuaranteed hourly rate of $21.63 (annualized $45,000) plus commissions and bonus opportunities. Eligible for overtime.
