Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Mon: 02:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Tue: 02:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Thur: 08:30 AM – 05:30 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or security‑related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public‑facing spaces while documenting observations, reporting incidents, and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.
- Support security‑related operations by following post orders, maintaining awareness of location policies, and completing assigned duties in varying environments and conditions.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
