Maintenance Technician II

Invitation Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the upkeep of single-family rental homes in our growing portfolio. In this field-based role, you'll perform intermediate-level maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. You will complete work orders, conduct inspections, ensure homes are move-in ready, and respond to resident service requests with urgency and professionalism. Working independently and with regional teams, you'll help deliver safe, well-maintained homes while embodying our performance-driven, service-oriented culture focused on resident satisfaction and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level maintenance and repairs on single-family rental homes
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
• Complete and document work orders in a timely, professional manner
• Conduct property inspections and ensure homes are move-in ready
• Respond to resident service requests and emergencies with urgency
• Follow safety standards, codes, and company maintenance procedures
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for specialized repairs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory for efficient operations
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and resident experience
• Drive between properties within assigned territory as needed
