Catholic Charities is hiring a part‑time Client Advocate to support individuals and families facing housing or economic instability. You’ll provide strength‑based case management, connect clients to critical resources, and help them build paths toward lasting stability—all in a welcoming, mission‑driven environment.

Position Highlights- $20.70 – $22/hour | 28 hours/week Monday–Thursday, 8:30 am–4:00 pm

- H.S. diploma/equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred.
- Experience with and sensitivity to issues affecting low‑income and homeless populations.
- Two years of experience in the human services field preferred.
- Bilingual or fluent in English/Spanish is not required but a plus.
- Empathetic and compassionate character with excellent verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to form and maintain positive work relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to apply culturally appropriate skills in interactions with clients, co‑workers, volunteers, partner agencies, and community members.
- Authentic personal commitment to Catholic Social Teaching.
- Willingness to work within the established structure of the Castle Rock Department and Catholic Charities.
- High level of self‑motivation, enthusiasm, and team‑oriented work ethic, with ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic math and analytical skills for budgeting and financial calculations.
- Ability to follow directions and interpret policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail in data entry, documentation, and record‑keeping.
- Self‑starter with ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to travel by automobile as needed.
- Occasional evenings and weekends required to accommodate meetings and special events.
- Successful completion of background clearance necessary.
- Conduct initial screening and intake of clients to gather information that identifies critical service needs; inform clients of available services or refer to partner agencies.
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments focused on concerns identified in the initial screening.
- Provide strength‑based case management services: build rapport, conduct needs assessments, develop effective case plans, provide services or referrals, and monitor outcomes over time.
- Manage cases related to self‑sufficiency programs in partnership with Douglas County.
- Assist in developing procedures, policies, and programs to promote client success.
- Perform data entry into case‑management databases in a timely, accurate manner.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of client information.
- Direct clients to appropriate partner agencies both on and off site.
- Maintain contacts and positive relationships with provider organizations.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate list of referral sources.
- Schedule may include evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work with people in crisis with a calm, positive, and understanding attitude.
