K ’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. • Work across multiple technology stacks, gaining hands-on experience with various languages, frameworks, and tools to support a broad range of applications
• Work in languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and GoLang, among other languages to deliver industry standard application functionality
• Work with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, Oracle, MySQL, and others
• Design, develop, and implement secure, end-to-end Kubernetes or Docker-based cluster and application life cycles
• Participate in software development using CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on security and automation
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect containerized solutions and cloud-native applications
• Apply Git Ops principles for automated and reliable deployment processes
• Implement Dev Sec Ops  best practices, ensuring security is integrated at every stage of the development lifecycle
• Ensure effective log management and use analytics tools for system monitoring and optimization
• Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, Power Shell) to automate security checks, deployment processes, and routine Dev Ops task
• Leverage AWS cloud services and other cloud platforms to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
• Contribute to the development of secure network configurations and cloud-based security architecture
• Maintain strong familiarity with Agile, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies to enhance operational efficiency
• Assist in implementing Service Mesh solutions (e.g., Istio) to support secure and efficient service-to-service communications
• Collaborate with teams using version control systems like Git Lab, and work with automation tools like Ansible, Maven, and Gradle
• Stay current with cloud technologies, industry best practices, and evolving security threats to recommend innovative solutions
• Maintain infrastructure using IaC/CaC
• Work with anchor developer to lead development processes

Required:

• Must Reside in the Colorado Springs Area
• Security Clearance:
  Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain
• 5-8 years' experience developing web-based applications
• 5-8 years’ experience with Kubernetes or Docker
• Develop and implement end-to-end cluster and application life cycles
• Experience working in AWS and cloud technologies
• Expert working with Agile, Agile XP, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies
• Expert with HTML, JavaScript, Vue.

• Experience with scripting languages Python, Bash, Powershell
• Networking experience
• Experience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as Istio
• Experience working with version control systems like Gitlab
• Experience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Passionate about automation, system efficiency, and security
• Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools
• Proficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
• Experience with Unit/Integration Testing
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code

Basic Compensations: $157,800 - $236,700 (For The Colorado Springs Area Only)

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
