Job Requirements and Duties

You must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record that meets Domino’s standards, and have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. Strong navigation skills are required, including the ability to read maps, locate addresses within the delivery area, and maneuver through multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain.

Qualifications
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills
  • Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions & Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
  • Accurate and timely cash handling (make correct monetary change).
  • Verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and precise movements.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Work Conditions

Exposure to:

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks such as trash removal or couponing.

• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36° (cooler) to 90°+ (some work areas).

• Sudden temperature changes while inside or outside.

• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.

• Cramped quarters, including walk‑in coolers.

• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500° or higher.

• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing

Requires talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements Standing

Most tasks are performed while standing.

Walking

For short distances and durations on surfaces such as ceramic tile, bricks, and linoleum. Work surfaces range from 36” to 48” high.

Sitting

Office paperwork is typically completed at a desk or table.

Lifting
  • Bulk product deliveries loaded twice a week or more using a hand truck (cases up to 50 pounds).
  • Storing on shelves up to 72” high.
Carrying
  • Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz).
  • Pizza sauce (≈30 lb).
  • Trays of pizza dough (≈12 lb per tray).
Pushing

Move trays on dollies (require up to 7.5 lb of force). Trays may also be pulled.

Climbing

Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders to change signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance.

Additional Information

Stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching (up, down, forward), and hand tasks (eye‑hand coordination, use of forearms and wrists for dough shaping, pizza peel and cutter use, mandatory pinching during box assembly) must be performed continuously throughout the day.
