Duties of a Van Technician:

Service, adjust and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
Diagnose faults and carry out testing using recognised procedures and equipment
Conduct inspections and identify defects or potential failures
Complete repairs, component replacements, and re-assemblies safely and efficiently
Road test vehicles when necessary to ensure repairs have been successful
Accurately document work carried out and advise on recharge costs
Observe health and safety standards during all work activities

Requirements of a Van Technician:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics
Proven experience working on light commercial vehicles or transit vans
Full UK driving licence
Comprehensive toolkit for work on light commercials
Strong attention to detail and diagnostic ability
