Guitar Instructor (Part-Time / Flexible Schedule) at Castro Valley School of Music
Responsibilities- Teach one‑on‑one guitar lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
- Customize lesson plans based on each student’s goals and interests
- Encourage consistent practice and progress
- Communicate effectively with students and parents
- Be part of a positive, team‑oriented teaching environment
- Strong guitar skills
- Ability to teach beginners through intermediate students (advanced is a plus)
- Friendly, reliable, and engaging personality
- Prior teaching experience of at least one year
- Ability to teach a variety of styles (rock, pop, blues, etc.)
- Passion for long‑term student development and retention
- Ability to connect with kids and teens in a fun, engaging, and encouraging way
- Steady stream of students (no need to find your own!)
