Coordinates professional nursing care within the Labor and Delivery unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines; maintains standards of professional practice.

Job Description:

EDUCATION

* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing Required

* BSN Preferred

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

* 2 years previous clinical experience in L&D and OB nursing and previous experience in nursery

LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS

* Registered Nurse - CA State Licensure - RN Required

* Basic Life Support Certification - BLS Required

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS Required

* Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - NRP Required

* Advanced Fetal Monitoring - AFM Required

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

* Ability to make fine discrimination in sound

* Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances

* Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances

* Handles emergency or crisis situations

* Subject to varying and unpredictable situations

* OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk)

* Assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds

Pay Range is $81.26 to $109.95 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
