  • Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
  • Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
  • Shifts Per Week: 3
  • Shift Duration: 12 hours
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,210 - $2,330
  • Unit Environment: Busy emergency department caring for adult and pediatric patients
  • Charting System: Epic
Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
  • Experience with Epic charting preferred/required
  • Ability to provide care for a wide range of emergency and trauma presentations
  • Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department setting
Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and emergent medical needs
  • Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring for patients across all age groups
  • Support care for trauma, stroke, respiratory, cardiac, and behavioral health presentations
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions as indicated
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
  • Safely manage multiple patients while maintaining strong clinical judgment and prioritization
  • Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
  • Promote a safe, organized, and compassionate environment for patients and families
