Job Title and Location

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) – Full‑time or Part‑time – 3489 Castro Valley Blvd, Castro Valley, CA 94546

• Base pay: $29.00–$35.00 per hour (depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location)
• Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 (relocation assistance available for the right candidate)

• Full‑time: 5 × 8‑hour shifts per week (Mon–Fri; Saturday hours added in September; closed on Sundays and major holidays)
• Part‑time opportunities available

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) licensed in California, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
• Minimum 5 years of veterinary clinical experience (technician or assistant)
• Degree from an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment; experience with Cornerstone software is a plus
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Proficient in proper animal handling and restraint
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Dental experience: scaling, polishing, extractions, suturing
• Skilled in IV catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, applying casts, bandages, and splints
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical procedures, including intubation, monitoring, pre‑operative and post‑operative care
• Laboratory skills: cytology set‑up and interpretation;
  Idexx laboratory equipment
• Diagnostic experience: digital radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound‑guided cystocentesis
• Ability to perform all duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowed by law
