RMF Engineering, Inc is currently seeking a full-time Structural Revit Designer in our Baltimore, MD office. The Civil/Structural Division provides engineering services for central utility power plants, healthcare facilities, and an array of utility distribution systems (including design of underground tunnels, vaults, and utility bridges). Most Universities, Hospitals, and Government sites include central utility power plants, which provide main utility services to the campus.

The Civil/Structural Division specializes in structural designs for these new facilities.

Responsibilities
  • 3D Modeling & Drafting: Model structural systems, including foundations, framing, steel, and concrete elements, creating detailed sections and plans.
  • Construction Documentation: Produce high-quality structural drawings and annotation for construction, ensuring they are ready for contractor use.
  • Coordination & Clash Detection: Coordinate models with architectural and MEP teams to resolve interferences (clash detection) and ensure accurate, integrated designs.
  • Standards Adherence: Maintain Revit project files, templates, and libraries while adhering to company and industry standards.

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with engineers to translate sketches, calculations, and design concepts into actionable drawings.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
