As a Group Fitness Instructor he/she is responsible for providing group fitness instruction while monitoring and educating members on fitness and safety in an enjoyable atmosphere.

• Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time.
• Provides adequate warm-up, class content, stretching, and cool down.
• Instructs class participants on effective workout methods, using and demonstrating proper technique.
• Prepares appropriate equipment and music for each class.
• Maintains a positive experience for members and class participants.
• Assists club management in promotion of smoothies, new products and promotions.
• Works on maintaining and building classes. If class is empty work to pull members in to class.

• Current Group Fitness certification
• Current certification
• CPR/AED certification
• Ability to motivate members towards participating in group fitness classes
• Strong desire to help others reach their health and fitness goals
• Completes Retro University requirements
