Role Overview:
The General Service Technician performs non-technical automotive services including oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotation. Responsibilities also include customer transportation, parts pickup, shop cleanliness, and ensuring vehicle safety and condition. The role involves operating company vehicles safely, conducting safety and emission inspections, and following safety procedures.
Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to obtain or hold a State Inspector License. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and physical ability to perform tasks is required.
Skills & Duties:Performs basic vehicle services, maintains a clean work environment, documents vehicle conditions, and adheres to safety and company policies. Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperatures and conditions.
