Radiation Oncology Adjunct Faculty (Part‑time)
Virginia Western Community College seeks part‑time adjunct faculty to provide classroom instruction in the Radiation Oncology Program in the School of Health Professions. Positions are appointed on a course‑by‑course, semester basis and instructors are expected to maintain currency in their discipline and in current community college education trends.
Qualifications- At least an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Radiation Oncology.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or equivalent, with ongoing educational compliance.
- Minimum two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior teaching experience, especially in a college setting, is desirable.
- Experience using technology in the classroom.
Faculty may be assigned additional duties as required and may be called upon to assist during emergency declarations by the Governor.
