Radiation Oncology Adjunct Faculty (Part-Time)
Virginia Western Community College is seeking an adjunct faculty member to provide classroom instruction in the Radiation Oncology program of the School of Health Professions. Faculty are hired on a course‑by‑course, semester basis and receive compensation on a per‑credit‑hour basis.

Title:
Adjunct Faculty (Part‑Time) - Pay Range: $793 – $1278 per credit hour (faculty rank determined when credentialed)
- Hours and days vary with course offerings and enrollment; appointment is semester‑based
- Deliver effective, engaging classroom instruction in Radiation Oncology courses.
- Maintain currency in the discipline and stay current with trends in community college education.
- Use technology effectively in the classroom to enhance student learning.
- Complete any additional duties as assigned and assist the institution during emergencies as required.
- Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Radiation Oncology (or equivalent).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification (or equivalent) with ongoing educational compliance.
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience teaching, preferably in a college setting, is preferred.
- Proficiency with classroom technology and instructional supports.
