Position Summary

Registered Vascular Sonographer – Vascular Surgery Clinic – Outpatient – Days (Open)

Up to $30,000 sign‑on bonus for new hires and relocation assistance up to $7,000 available.

• Perform a variety of technical imaging procedures and provide quality care to patients.
• Assess patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
• Operate highly specialized equipment including radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS systems.
• Provide a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Educate and train students and staff as assigned.
• Interpret data to identify patient requirements and provide care per applicable policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate and manage plan of care.

Workdays:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. No weekends, holidays, or on‑call. 4 ten‑hour shifts available.

Hours:

7am‑5:30pm or 8:30am‑5:00pm.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.
• License, certification, and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in OB/Gyn, Abd, or Neurosonography. (Vascular Sonography certification preferred.)
• RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) in Vascular Sonography.
• CPR certification required.
• Interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
