Great Strides Rehabilitation, an H2 Health company, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our outpatient pediatric team in Roanoke, Virginia. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates across physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, ABA, and other pediatric specialties to deliver individualized, family-centered care. Your Role- Evaluate and treat children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, fine motor deficits, self-care limitations, and other functional impairments within your scope of practice.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence and meaningful participation in daily activities.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory regulation, coordination, and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home programs and strategies that reinforce therapeutic progress outside of the clinic.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation using AI-powered documentation technology designed to reduce administrative burden and support efficient workflows.
- Foster a positive, engaging therapy environment where children feel encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed.
Requirements
Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current Virginia Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
