About

The Role

This is a field leadership role overseeing residential construction projects in Cedar City and the surrounding areas.

The Superintendent Is Responsible For
  • Day‑to‑day field execution and jobsite leadership
  • Construction schedule ownership, sequencing, and maintenance
  • Trade partner coordination and field accountability
  • Work installed per approved plans, selections, and company standards
  • Jobsite safety, quality, cleanliness, and compliance
  • Field issues identified and escalated promptly
  • Communicating professionally with homeowners and internal team members
  • Driving projects from start to finish

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee on‑site residential construction activities from foundation through closeout
  • Build, manage, and actively maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate trade partners and ensure work meets plans, specifications, and company standards
  • Review architectural and structural plans and proactively help resolve field conflicts
  • Coordinate with office staff, selections, and project management to verify plans, options, and scope details before execution
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
  • Complete accurate daily logs, jobsite photos, and field documentation consistently
  • Coordinate inspections and maintain compliance with local building requirements
  • Hold trade partners accountable to quality, professionalism, and timelines
  • Manage punch‑out, final completion, and warranty preparation
  • Communicate project progress clearly and professionally with homeowners and internal team members
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a superintendent who is steady, proactive, dependable, and comfortable leading residential construction projects independently. The right person communicates clearly, stays ahead of the work, and delivers consistent, high‑quality results.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of residential superintendent or field leadership experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
  • Experience coordinating multiple trade partners and overlapping schedules
  • Detailed knowledge of residential construction sequencing and jobsite best practices
  • Strong organizational skills and an ownership mindset
  • Demonstrated attention to quality and jobsite standards
  • Comfortable working in varying site and weather conditions, including winter scheduling challenges
  • Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, email, spreadsheets, and construction software
  • We use Microsoft Office and Buildertrend

  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screening
  • Willingness to complete a pre‑employment aptitude assessment
