Full‑Time | Daily, Monday‑Friday Between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm (Shift will be an 8‑hour shift sometime between these hours)
Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, long‑term, customer‑focused Customer Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for customers in person, by phone, and by email. This position also involves preparing estimates, entering jobs into a computer system, and performing basic file output to digital printers. This role operates in a busy, fast‑paced environment with frequent customer interaction and interruptions.
The successful candidate will be able to remain calm, organized, and accurate while handling multiple time‑sensitive responsibilities throughout the day.
- Greet and assist walk‑in customers at the front counter
- Answer incoming phone calls while assisting in‑person customers
- Respond to customer inquiries by email in a professional manner
- Consult with customers to find effective solutions to their printing needs
- Prepare estimates and quotes for customer orders
- Enter job details accurately into the computer system
- Perform basic file checks and send jobs to digital printers
- Address customer questions and concerns calmly and professionally
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast‑paced setting
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including good grammar and spelling
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
- Proven experience in directly providing customer service
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems
- Ability to remain professional when customers have challenging needs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Able to regularly lift 40lbs unaided
- Can work 35‑40 hours per week Monday‑Friday between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm
- Experience with graphic design software a plus
- Frequent face‑to‑face and phone interaction with customers
- Regular interruptions throughout the day
- Multiple tasks requiring focus and accuracy
- Time pressure
This position is best suited for individuals who are comfortable in an active customer‑facing environment and can manage competing demands without becoming overwhelmed.
