The Classroom Aide serves under the direction of the Education Supervisor as a second or third adult staff member in the classroom to assist with supervising children ages 3 to 5. Supports teachers with class routines, activities, and active supervision.

Position is located in Beaver, UT.

• Acts as a Teacher Aide in the classroom including supervising and interacting with children during circle time, singing, transitions, reading stories, and participating with children in learning centers.
• Assists the teachers with active supervision including keeping children safe, healthy, and well-supervised in the classroom and on the playground.
• Assist teachers with behavior management. Model positive classroom management and promote respect for all children and adults.
• Model appropriate hand washing, tooth brushing, and table manners for the children.
• Assist with cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing toys, floors, and other common areas and surfaces in the classroom.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
