The Beverley Taylor Sorenson College of Education and Human Development is looking for a dynamic, highly qualified educator in the Family Life and Human Development department. An M.S. degree in FLHD or a related field is required for a non‑tenure track position. Rank will be assigned commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions- Teach 5 undergraduate courses in one or more of the following areas:
Human Development, Family Studies, Family Services, and Social Work. - Specific courses taught will depend on qualifications and expertise and may include:
Introduction to Family Services and Social Work, Lifespan Development, Family Life Education, Internship Supervision, Family Process and Theory, Diverse Individuals and Families, Relationships and Marriage, and others. - Primary focus is teaching and mentoring students.
- Professional commitment and service to the department, college, and university are expected and required for rank advancement.
- Other assignments as determined by the department chair and dean.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Family Sciences, Human Development, or a closely related field.
- Evidence of successful teaching experience in Family Life and Human Development courses or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with online teaching delivery systems and/or interest and ability in utilizing and facilitating educational technologies in teaching.
- Contingent upon successful background check in accordance with Utah State Code 53A-3-410.

Position is contingent on funding. This position works 9 months out of the year.
