South Elementary is seeking TWO Part Time Lunch Monitor Paraprofessional to work 10 hours per week.
This position will remain open until filled.
- Monitors and provides support, encouragement, and assistance to elementary students during breakfast and or lunch activities and on the playground.
- Supervises playground/recreational activities, including individual use of equipment and participation in group games.
- Assists in maintaining order and decorum in the lunchroom, reinforcing student manners, eating habits, and cleanup procedures.
- Assists in providing a safe environment for students during playground and breakfast/lunch periods.
- Enforces safety rules, appropriate behavior standards, and school playground/lunchroom policies.
- Communicate issues with the School Principal.
- Must have basic computer knowledge, be familiar with Google docs and check email frequently. Must be willing to learn and use all computer systems and software as needed.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance and job performance is required.
