The Mechanical Equipment Engineer is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and stability of manufacturing equipment with a focus on mechanical systems. This role supports equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesKorea speaking skills strongly preferred.
Equipment Maintenance & Reliability- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance (BM) on mechanical production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support equipment installation, setup, alignment, and commissioning activities.
- Identify mechanical bottlenecks and support line balancing and optimization.
- Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime through engineering solutions.
- Support OEE improvement initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Manage mechanical spare parts and consumables.
- Support lifecycle management of mechanical components.
- Coordinate with vendors for mechanical repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate mechanical safety risks in production equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and CAD documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support off-shift maintenance when required.
- 3+ years (preferred) in mechanical maintenance or equipment engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing automation or high-volume production environments.
- Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and reliability improvement projects.
- CAD (2D/3D) proficiency.

QualificationsPreferred Qualifications
- 3+ years (preferred) in mechanical maintenance or equipment engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing automation or high-volume production environments.
- Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and reliability improvement projects.
- CAD (2D/3D) proficiency.
BS or Associates degree, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
