Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the Director of Administrative Systems, assist in the management of enterprise software and related systems and assist in the development of internal software applications.
Essential Functions- Support the administrative systems of the University by implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, developing, automating, installing, and integrating ERP/SIS and related systems with a high degree of complexity at a production level of quality following standard procedures and practices established by the department.
- Collaborate with system users to test, validate, and troubleshoot the ERP/SIS and related systems.
- Assist users in accessing data to satisfy campus-wide information needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field.)
- Programming knowledge required, preferably Python or JavaScript.
- Willingness to maintain current knowledge and adapt to new technologies as required.
- Ability to relate well with staff, faculty, students, administrators, and other IT staff.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, manage a diverse workload, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, macOS, Linux, and Docker.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience using AI in development.
- Knowledge of IT security and its application in the higher education environment.
- Experience integrating systems via data push/pull processes highly desired.
- Experience developing software applications and/or scripts highly desired.
Position is contingent on funding.
