Purchasing Agent Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 17.00 to $ 20.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 05:00pm)
• Order raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and supplies
• Obtain quotes from vendors and compare pricing
• Track inventory levels and reorder materials before shortages occur
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and accounting teams
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery dates and shortages
• Maintain purchasing records and spreadsheets
• Negotiate pricing and terms as they gain experience
• Help ensure materials are available to meet production schedules
Must have very good organization and communication skills
