overview
iron county is accepting applications for a part time sign technician in our engineering department. This position works under the general guidance and direction of the iron county engineer and under the senior sign technician.
job summaryunder the general direction of the iron county engineer, performs semi-skilled to skilled duties related to the preparation, manufacturing and installation of signs and warning devices. Other departmental duties as assigned.
qualifications- high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- at least one (1) year of verifiable equipment operation, contruction, or closely related job experience.
- must have valid utah drivers license in good standing according to iron county policy section 30; must maintain compliance with policy section 30 during the course of employment.
- must be able to perform heavy lifting up to and over 50 pounds.
- must pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
