Job Description

The Oncology Nurse Navigator provides specialized care coordination for patients across Cedar City Hospital and the broader Intermountain Health system. This role partners closely with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to guide individuals through the cancer care continuum, ensuring seamless, compassionate, and patient‑centered care.

• Competitive salary based on experience; scheduled 40 hours per week with a typical 4‑10‑hour shift schedule
• Hourly range: $44.42 – $65.70, depending on experience

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (or obtained within 60 days of hire with approval)
• Three years of RN experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Oncology or care management certification (e.g., OCN, CCM) or specialty certification relevant to the role
• Prior Oncology or Infusion experience

• Continuous visual acuity to read patient information, labels, and monitor data, and to assess patient needs and equipment use
• Frequent verbal communication and active listening, including rapid response to alarms and urgent situations
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate medical equipment, prepare medications, and document using computer systems
• Ability to lift, bend, reach, and handle supplies and equipment of varying weights, including heavy items
• Regular walking and movement to assist with patient transport, ambulation, and equipment distribution; includes pushing and pulling gurneys and portable equipment
• Safe navigation of busy clinical environments with equipment, cords, and obstacles
• May be required to stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts
