Registered Nurse - Cardiology

Role Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within an ambulatory cardiology setting. They utilize the nursing process, technology, and therapeutic interventions while collaborating with the healthcare team.

• Perform comprehensive physical, social, and psychological assessments.
• Develop individualized care plans involving patients and families.
• Coordinate and delegate care to interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote professional development.
• Perform procedures and therapies according to training and licensure, including high acuity and specialized patient populations.

• Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Practice-specific certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) as required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and cardiology experience.

• Manual dexterity, physical ability for patient transfer, and mobility around busy clinical environments.
• Ability to interpret clinical information, operate monitors, and manage equipment accurately.

The role involves working full-time on scheduled shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality ambulatory care in a fast-paced setting.
