Creator and Marketer of Experiences - Customer Service/Sales
Cedar City, United States | Posted on 07/07/2026
At Southwest Adventure Tours (SWAT), we don’t just sell tours, we create unforgettable journeys through some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in the American West. We’re looking for a Creator and Marketer of Experiences to join our sales team and bring our itineraries to life for travelers from around the globe.
This isn’t your typical desk job. One day you might be designing a dream itinerary for a small group exploring Utah’s Mighty Five National Parks; the next, you could be networking with industry pros at a trade show or exploring a new destination on a familiarization trip.
If you thrive on building relationships, love talking about travel, and have a knack for turning “I’m just looking” into “When can we book?”, we want you on our team.
As our newest sales & marketing dynamo, you’ll work closely with our sales and marketing leadership to promote, design, and sell Group, Custom, Self-Drive, Private, and Guaranteed Departure tours, all while keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends and opportunities.
Responsibilities- Promote, design, and sell a variety of tour products.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, wholesalers, and clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends, destinations, hotels, attractions, and activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Represent SWAT at trade shows, familiarization trips, and other industry events.
- Proven sales experience ideally in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Relationship‑building skills that make agents, wholesalers, and clients want to work with you again.
- Strong organizational skills for juggling proposals, follow‑ups, and sales calls.
- Creativity and curiosity to design itineraries that wow guests and fit their unique needs.
- Comfort with technology from CRM systems and proposal design tools to Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Industry savviness or willingness to quickly learn about destinations, hotels, attractions, activities, and the Southwest’s natural and cultural history.
- Willingness to travel for trade shows, “FAM” trips, and other necessary adventures.
- Professional, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
- Competitive base salary plus commission.
- Opportunities to travel for work, including familiarization trips to some of the most beautiful places in the U.S.
- Flexible work arrangements (office and remote days if local, or purely remote).
- Unlimited Paid Time Off for salaried employees.
- Company culture built on collaboration, adventure, and genuine care for guests and each other.
- Access to trade shows, networking events, and industry associations.
- Employee discounts on tours and activities.
- A chance to make a real impact in a growing company where new ideas are encouraged and valued.
