Auto Technician

Bradshaw Chevrolet is seeking a qualified full time service technician

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on equipment according to manufacturer and company standards.
• Document all work performed including parts used, labor time, and service recommendations.
• Communicate clearly with customers about issues found, repair options, and equipment condition.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment both in the shop and on customer sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Manage service calls efficiently, ensuring timely arrival, completion, and follow‑up.
• Identify potential issues proactively and recommend preventive maintenance.

• GM ASEP or equivalent automotive training (GM Automotive Service Educational Program preferred)
• ASE Certifications in areas such as Brakes, Electrical, Engine Repair, Steering & Suspension, HVAC, and Drivability
• GM‑specific training modules completed through GM Global Connect (e.g., G1–G5 courses)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate GM diagnostic tools, including GDS2, Techline Connect, MDI/MDI2
• Strong understanding of GM vehicle systems, including electrical architecture, CAN bus communication, and onboard diagnostics

• Advanced diagnostic ability using scan tools, multimeters, and GM software
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform engine, transmission, and chassis repairs
• Attention to detail in documentation, repair accuracy, and parts usage
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with service advisors and customers
• Time management to complete repairs efficiently and meet flat‑rate expectations
