✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Janitor at Falcon Ridge Ranch in Virgin, Utah and Lava Heights Academy in Toquerville, Utah✨

Falcon Ridge Ranch and Lava Heights Academy are residential treatment programs that provide a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for vulnerable young women who are referred from juvenile courts and social service agencies both locally and across the country. The youth enter the program with a history of abuse, neglect, trauma, substance abuse, mental illness and violence. They graduate from Falcon Ridge Ranch as educated young women who have overcome challenges and have demonstrated making healthy choices for themselves and for their future.

Pay: $16 per hour.

You will be eligible for Medical insurance on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment. You will be eligible for the rest of the Rite of Passage Benefits Package immediately after 90 days of full-time employment, and 401K match of up to 6% after 1 year of employment, Paid Time Off that can be used as soon as it accrues and more!

What you will do: The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of our offices, education facility, and residential dormitory. This includes cleaning hard and carpeted floors, walls, doors, windows, and furniture, as well as cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing garbage, and laundering the clothing and bedding of our residents. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

To be considered you should: ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ High school diploma or equivalent preferred ~ 2 years of experience in custodial / housekeeping ~ Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: Monday – Friday ~ 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
