JJYS Technician - Iron County Youth Center

FT / PT Status – Part-time

Salary – $15.00

Remote Work / In-Office – In-Office / On-Site

• Work closely with youth ordered into the care and custody of JJYS
• Monitor visitors and residents within the facility
• Schedule and coordinate activities for the youth
• Assist Supervisors with perimeter checks
• Resolve potentially dangerous situations to ensure the safety of staff, youth and or the public by applying appropriate intervention techniques to people, facilities and property
• Transport Youth
• Multi-tasking:
  Answering phones, scheduling visits, working the Control Board which opens doors for staff.
• Communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely in writing (read and understand information presented in writing)

• Candidates 21 years of age or older
