Ready Mix Truck Driver

Western Rock Products, a CRH Company, is a leader in quality sand, rock, and construction services. This role supports safe and efficient delivery of ready‑mix concrete.

Operate ready‑mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on public roads, and at job sites, delivering concrete to commercial and residential locations.

• Maintain equipment in a safe, clean condition.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
• Verify compliance with mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
• Align mixer drum under the disbursement chute to receive product.
• Drive to location for unloading and operate the truck chute to release concrete.
• Clean truck after delivery to prevent hardening of concrete.
• Place and operate chutes as directed.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

To perform this job, the candidate must meet the following:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• One to two years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and perform basic math.
• Ability to work well with others and follow directions.
• Subject to drug testing and physical agility testing.
• Valid state commercial driver’s license (Class A or
  
  B).
• Valid Medical Card per DOT standard.
• Customer service, teamwork, judgment, planning, professionalism, safety, adaptability, punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation, quality skills.

The role requires frequent sitting, climbing, and hand use to signal and handle equipment. Occasionally the employee must stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

The employee works in wet or humid conditions, close to moving mechanical parts, outside weather, and extreme temperatures. Noise levels are usually moderate.
