Assistant Manager

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes.
• Ability to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver products within the designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and orders.
• Assist customers and co‑workers with order processing both over the phone and in person.

• Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands for rapid, accurate movements.

• Proficiency in basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and use of a calculator.
• Accurate handling of monetary change.
• Computer keyboard or touch‑screen entry of orders.
• Ability to navigate to delivery sites and adapt to varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and climb, as required for delivery.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product and conducting outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36 °F to 90 °F+ in some areas.
• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters such as walk‑in coolers.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Need for near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, and night vision for driving.

• Standing for extended periods; walking on various surfaces.
• Travel between store, vehicle, and customer locations.
• Sitting for paperwork at a desk or table.
• Lifting up to 50 lb loads using a hand truck.
• Carrying items up to 30 lb.
• Consistently pushing or pulling trays on dollies (8‑10 lb force).
• Familiarity with stairs and ladders for maintenance or storage tasks.
• Forward bending, crouching, and reaching up to 72 in.
• Eye‑hand coordination for manipulating pizza dough, pizza peel, and packaging equipment.

• Forward bending at the pizza assembly station for 30‑45 s intervals.
• To reach above 72 in to operate ovens and change sign prices.
• Reaching down to scoop cornmeal and wash dishes.
• Driving to deliver pizzas, flyers, and door hangers within a designated area.

Training provided on the job.
