You’ll work closely with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to provide meaningful cost insights, improve processes, and influence decision-making at the plant level. It’s an excellent opportunity for either an experienced cost accountant or a strong senior accountant ready to step deeper into manufacturing finance.

Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant / Sr. Accountant:• Partner with plant and operations leaders to analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and margins
• Own standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost control processes
• Prepare and review monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and operational KPIs
• Lead or support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory accuracy initiatives
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual standard cost updates
• Provide financial analysis and insights to cross-functional teams to support decision-making
• Identify opportunities to improve costing, reporting, and ERP processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–7+ years of manufacturing accounting or cost accounting experience
– OR – strong senior G/L accounting experience with inventory and operational exposure
• Experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory controls
• ERP system experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to partner effectively with operations and communicate financial insights clearly
• Self-starter with a hands-on, collaborative approach
• Continuous improvement mindset with comfort working in an on-site plant environment
