Government Collection Specialist
CBE Companies is seeking a Government Collection Specialist to begin on Monday, July 6, 2026. The role involves working in a fast‑paced call center (or remote) environment, handling 100–150 calls per day while providing high‑quality customer service, resolving debt collection matters, and complying with all state and federal debt‑collection laws.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to consumers and third parties on both inbound and outbound calls.
- Work with consumers to resolve their accounts, using a structured call flow to guide each interaction.
- Locate and verify consumer contact information.
- Implement client‑required changes efficiently and accurately.
- Review daily performance statistics and meet productivity, schedule adherence, and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with management on personal growth, improvement, and career development.
- Work positively and collaboratively with co‑workers to maintain a competitive and fun work environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- U.S. citizenship or 3‑year legal residence.
- Effective listening, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Motivated, engaged, disciplined, personable, competitive, and reliable.
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented, competitive environment.
- Background check and drug testing required.
Location:
Cedar Falls, Iowa
Hours:
Monday–Friday, four shifts a week (8a.m.–430p.m. or 1030a.m.–7p.m.)

Wage: $17.74–$23.00 per hour
Commission:
Average $1,250 monthly (additional to hourly pay, available after first month)
