CCF exists to engage students where they are and equip them to follow Christ so they can impact the world through Him. CCF ministers on the three major campuses in the state of Iowa (Iowa State, University of Northern Iowa, and University of Iowa) as well as Hawkeye Community College near UNI. Regardless of being on multiple campuses, CCF is just one ministry.
The CCF staff is part of a team which meets regularly as a way to brainstorm and encourage one another and to plan ministry-wide events like Impact Trips, retreats, and camps.
CCF is searching for a men’s minister at the University of Northern Iowa who is passionate about discipleship with college students. Someone who thrives on discipling both individual and small group settings, who not only desires to see students grow in their faith but also to equip them to become disciple‑making disciples and to be active in reaching those on campus who do not yet know Christ.
Discipling students in both individual relationships and small groups in order that they grow closer to God and become people who make other disciples.
- Organize and lead the weekly CCF meetings at UNI, as well as other Bible studies and discipleship groups as needed.
- Prepare and execute outreach and community events at UNI.
- Assist with retreats and camps throughout the year.
- Visit local churches for donor relations and prospective student outreach.
- Collaborate with campus ministers from UI and ISU on their campuses or assist the director with statewide initiatives, as requested.
- Passionate about discipleship in general, and in college students specifically.
- A self‑starter who is able to work efficiently on tasks and goals from home, campus, or an office.
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule and workflow, as needed for both the ministry and school calendar.
- 5–10 years of ministry experience preferred, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in ministry or theology most preferred, but not required if the applicant has equivalent ministry experience.
