Assistant Adjunct Professor In TESOL/Applied Linguistics
The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Languages and Literatures seeks applications for a temporary Assistant Adjunct Professor in TESOL/Applied Linguistics, starting in August 2026. One position will teach an undergraduate teacher preparation course, Content Area Strategies for English Learners. Another position will teach a graduate practicum course in ELL/TESOL teaching one evening/week, which is required for the K-12 ELL Endorsement and/or the MA TESOL.
Required Qualifications:
MA or Ph.D. in Education, Educational Linguistics, or TESOL/Applied Linguistics with K-12 classroom experience required. A Ph.D. in Education, Educational Linguistics, or TESOL/Applied Linguistics is required to teach the graduate level course.
