Assistant Adjunct Professor - Elementary Science Methods

The University of Northern Iowa’s Department of Elementary and Middle Level Education seeks applications for a temporary Assistant Adjunct Professor of Elementary Science Methods position, starting in August 2026. This position will teach two sections of Elementary Science Methods, on‑campus instruction, and collaborate with other faculty teaching the same course. These classes are scheduled on Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 am – 10:45 am and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am – 12:15 pm.

This is not a remote position.

Master’s degree in elementary education or a related field required.

• Experience teaching elementary science, STEM or STEAM in the elementary context.
• Experience teaching elementary‑age children.
