The University of Northern Iowa’s Department of Elementary and Middle Level Education seeks applications for a temporary Assistant Adjunct Professor of K-8 Classroom Management position, starting in August 2026. Responsibilities include teaching this undergraduate course on campus from 8:00 am – 9:15 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a face‑to‑face class taught on campus, so remote work is not available for this position.
Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in elementary education or related field plus at least three years of teaching experience in an elementary school required.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with peer coaching, and/or teaching preservice or new teachers about classroom environments and management preferred.
